A Starz Original Documentary, What Haunts Us explores the serial abuse that took place in the prestigious Porter-Gaud school in Charleston, South Carolina. When director and Porter-Gaud alum Paige Goldberg-Tolmach gets word that another former student and close friend has killed himself, she decides to look more closely at her past. What she uncovers is a chilling story of predators, enablers, and the ghosts that still haunt us.
Provided a wealth of original material from the period, The Glossary was tasked with the overall art-direction of the film. The school yearbooks became a central character, and we directed multiple b-roll shoots to capture them in a dynamic, compelling way. We also provided the title sequence, as well as various motion graphic shots.
